UNEXPECT Hard At Work On New Album

May 17, 2005

Montreal's ambitious and eclectic musical outfit UNEXPECT have offered the following update on studio work for their forthcoming debut for The End Records:

"Some guitars, vocals and guest musicians are the only parts remaining to be recorded for the album. The release of the album is not scheduled anytime soon, so we'll take the time we have to fill it up to the maximum extent. As soon they are ready, some rough audio mix extracts will be put on the online. An animated video for one of our unreleased songs, 'Desert Urbania', is in the creative stages right now. A short tour on the East Coast of the United States is currently being discussed but we are still unsure. If it does happen, it could be possibly be sometime this summer."

Upcoming UNEXPECT shows:

Jun. 04 - Club Soda - Montreal, QUE
Jul. 22 - Salle-Antoine Labelle – Laval, QUE (Xtreme Distortion Fest 2005)
Jul. 30 - L'Imperial - Quebec, QUE
Oct. 14 - Opera House – Toronto, ONT (Day of the Equinox)
